You'll pay a similar price, walk similar distances, and see Himalayan giants — Machhapuchhre, the Manaslu massif, even Everest itself from Pikey — without the trail traffic that now makes headlines every October.
One more reason 2026 is a good year to make that call: Nepal dropped the two-trekker minimum for restricted-area permits this year, so a couple or a solo trekker can now book Nar Phu, Tsum or Upper Dolpo without waiting to be paired with strangers.
