Under the 1950 Indo-Nepal Treaty, Indian citizens need no visa and face no time limit — carry a valid passport or Voter ID (Election Commission photo ID).
Apply on arrival at Kathmandu (TIA) airport or online as an e-visa — same fee. Pay in USD cash; bring a passport valid 6+ months and a passport photo. Children under 10 are free. Fees reviewed August 2026 — confirm the live rate before travel.
