Annapurna Base Camp Trek — 7 Days

Seven days was exactly right. Our guide Rajan never let the group feel rushed — we spent an extra hour at Tadapani because the cloud was doing something extraordinary with the light. By the time we hit base camp at 4,130m I felt genuinely prepared, not just relieved to have made it. The best week I've spent outdoors in twenty years of hiking.

Mate, just do it. I spent six months agonising over which company to use and which route to take. The Annapurna sanctuary at sunset is something else entirely.
