安纳布尔纳大本营徒步——6天

I'm 58 and had never trekked above 2,500m before this trip. Guide Tshering set a pace I could manage without it ever feeling patronizing — we just walked at the speed the mountain required. Standing at 4,130m on the final morning, Annapurna I directly above me, I realized I had been underestimating myself for years.

Our guide Dawa had been doing this route for eleven years and it showed in every decision he made. The 6-day pace meant we actually slept well at altitude. I woke at MBC at 4am and watched Machhapuchhre turn pink before anyone else in the teahouse was awake. That half hour alone was worth the entire trip from Frankfurt.

I came to Nepal solo, slightly nervous, knowing nobody. From the moment I landed in Pokhara, the team made me feel completely safe and looked after. Guide Mingma was funny, patient, and knew every single teahouse owner on the trail by name. The last push from Deurali to MBC in the dark at 5am with headlamps, emerging to a full moon over Machhapuchhre — that is an image I will carry for life. This company is the real thing.

Being from India, I was skeptical about booking a trek through a Nepali agency — but these guys are the real deal. Our guide Rajan was incredibly knowledgeable about both the trail and the local Gurung culture. The permit process was completely handled. Chhomrong village is magical — we stayed at a family guesthouse and had the most delicious dal bhat of my life. The amphitheatre at ABC with Annapurna I, South, and Gangapurna surrounding you is just indescribable.

Just back from the most extraordinary week of my life. The team at Travel Himalaya Nepal are exceptional — professional, warm, and genuinely knowledgeable about the mountains. Our guide Tenzin was brilliant company for six days. The trail from Chhomrong up through the bamboo forest to MBC is just staggering. Prices are completely fair — what you see on the website is what you pay. No surprises whatsoever. Already planning the Circuit for next year.

Trekking with Travel Himalaya Nepal was the best decision I made on my Nepal trip. Our guide Dawa spoke excellent English and had incredible patience. He adjusted the pace perfectly — I was nervous about the altitude but he kept checking on me. The food at the teahouses was surprisingly good. At MBC we woke at 4am to watch the sunrise on Machhapuchhre. I will never forget it. Highly recommended to all Japanese travelers.

I have trekked in Patagonia, Kilimanjaro, and the Dolomites — this was the most moving experience of all of them. Our guide Ram knew every switchback, every teahouse owner, every shortcut through the rhododendron forest. The morning we arrived at ABC, Annapurna South was completely clear. I sat and cried. Permits, transport, everything was handled before I landed in Pokhara. Absolutely faultless.
