Autumn (Oct–Nov)
Prime photography season. Exceptional clarity, golden light on Himalayan peaks, rich autumn colours in rhododendron and oak forests. October sunrise shots are unmatched.
Spring (Mar–May)
Rhododendron bloom adds vibrant foreground colour to mountain compositions. Great light conditions. Slightly hazier than autumn but still excellent.
Winter (Dec–Feb)
Snow on peaks creates dramatic compositions. Fewer trekkers means unobstructed shots. Cold conditions require extra battery care for cameras.
Monsoon (Jun–Aug)
Clouds and rain block views. Not suitable for mountain photography.
