Lobuche East (6,119m) is a formidable Khumbu trekking peak offering a genuine high-altitude climbing challenge on a technical ridge overlooking Everest — an ideal stepping stone before bigger Himalayan objectives.

The 15-day Lobuche East itinerary offers the same technical climbing objective as our 16-day programme — summit of Lobuche East (6,119 m) via the classic Khumbu approach — with one fewer rest day at Dingboche, making it appropriate for trekkers with confirmed altitude acclimatisation ability or prior Khumbu experience. The route is identical: Lukla, Namche, Tengboche, Dingboche, Lobuche village, Base Camp (4,940 m), High Camp (5,600 m), and summit day. The technical terrain on the upper mountain — mixed rock and ice, fixed ropes, knife-edge summit ridge — is unchanged between the two itineraries.
The Lobuche East summit view encompasses the entire western Khumbu: Pumori (7,161 m), the west face of Nuptse (7,861 m), and the summit triangle of Everest rising above the icefall — a high-altitude panorama that rewards the technical effort of the upper mountain unambiguously.
Full climbing gear rental, Sagarmatha NP and climbing permits, Lukla flights, Sherpa support, and all accommodation are included.
Requirement: Prior altitude experience above 4,500 m recommended. Best seasons: October–November and April–May. Summit altitude: 6,119 m.
