Autumn considerations
The main downside is popularity — October in particular is busy on the famous routes (EBC, Annapurna), so trails, teahouses, and Lukla flights are in high demand. Book well ahead, especially accommodation and internal flights. Build buffer days for the Lukla flight bottleneck. Nights at altitude are cold despite the clear days — pack accordingly.
