October and November bring the clearest skies, the most stable weather and the sharpest mountain views of the year — and that is exactly why these months book out first. For Korean trekkers, who often travel in organised groups, planning early is not optional; the best autumn departures fill the better part of a year ahead.

Combine that with limited direct flight capacity from Seoul and the popularity of the Annapurna and Everest trails, and the message is clear — secure your dates, flights and group spots well in advance, ideally eight to ten months out for an October or November trek.
